Hey ODP Fam,
Last month I began reading the book ‘Finding Peace’ by Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche and it really started to shift the way I viewed meditation and inner peace.
After my experience reading the book I thought I’d share a personal story with you that I hope will inspire and motivate you to prioritise your own well-being. Recently, I embarked on a meditation challenge, committing to practice meditation every day for a month. It doesn’t have to be an hour long, even just 10mins will do.
At first, it seemed daunting, but I was determined to make it a habit. To stay accountable, I started writing "Meditation" in my calendar each day after completing my practice. It's been an incredible journey so far, and I'm excited to share the impact it's had on my life.
By incorporating meditation into my daily routine, I've noticed a profound sense of peace and balance that I hadn't experienced before. It's as if my mind and body have found a new harmony, allowing me to approach challenges with clarity and calmness.
I want to encourage you to consider trying something similar. Take a few minutes each day to breathe, relax, and focus on the present moment. You can use a guided meditation or simply sit quietly, observing one single object.
Remember, consistency is key, so start small and be gentle with yourself. Write it down in your calendar, just like I do, to help you stay on track.
I'd love to hear about your own experiences or tips for maintaining a meditation practice.
Wishing you peace, balance, and calm on your own journey.
